Bills, receipts, warranty cards, prescriptions, the meter reading you photographed so you would not forget it. Scan or drop them in and they are filed, searchable and kept at full size.

It flows to your computer — never to us
Most software of this kind keeps your records on someone else’s machine and asks you to trust the arrangement. SafeNest does not have that arrangement to trust.
There is no cloud copy
Not encrypted-on-our-servers, not zero-knowledge. There is simply no copy of your records anywhere but your own machine.
It works with the internet off
Everything opens, searches and saves offline. A connection is needed to activate the licence, and after that only if you want one.
You can take it all with you
The data is a file you can copy, back up or move to a new computer. Nothing is locked into a format only we can read.

Install it
Download for Windows, or run a single line in Terminal on a Mac. It installs and opens.
Activate and start
Create your sign-in, paste the key on the activation screen, and begin filling it.

The questions everyone asks
Where is my data actually kept?
In a database file on your own computer, in a folder the app shows you. You can copy it, back it up to your own drive, or move it to another machine. We never receive it.
Does it work without the internet?
Yes. Everything opens, searches and saves offline. A connection is needed once, to activate your licence.
Is there really no limit on photos and scans?
There is no limit imposed by SafeNest. Files are written to your own disk at full resolution, so the only limit is how much free space that disk has.
What happens if I change computers?
Copy your data file across and activate SafeNest on the new machine. Nothing has to be re-entered.
Can more than one person in the house use it?
Yes — the household can share one SafeNest, with separate sign-ins.
What if I forget my sign-in?
Because there is no account with us, we cannot reset it for you — that is the direct cost of us not holding your data. Keep your recovery details somewhere safe.
